1795 Liberty and Security Halfpenny. Musante GW-48, Baker-31, W-11015. LONDON Edge. EF-40 (PCGS).,An unusually well preserved example of this conditionally challenging type. Warmly patinated in copper brown, both sides are softly struck in the centers, typical for the type, yet boldly to sharply defined around the peripheries. Satiny surfaces are free of all but trivial handling marks that are easily overlooked at the assigned grade level. This Conder token type was struck in England in 1795 and enjoyed considerable success there as a circulating medium of exchange. With most survivors well worn, this pleasing EF will certainly catch the eye of astute bidders.,,
