The first of four 1899 Banco Nacional Provisional notes, these overprinted on American Bank Note Co. printed Banco Internacional, Bogotá remainder notes. They form a complete denomination set, which is very rarely seen in any collection except one with depth and magnitude. A smaller size format with intricate green tinting and deeper green back. Punch hole cancelled (not noted on the PMG encapsulation) and previously mounted are noted. Those back corner mounts are a bit heavier than others cataloged here. The face eye appeal is lovely.
