Female portrait at bottom right. Green and black die counter 5s at bottom left and top right. Green 5s left and right of central vignette. Bold green FIVE at bottom center with microlettered FIVE DOLLARS in background. A great Civil War dated color tinted note and very rare. This is just the second example that we have seen com available in 15 years. The design elements are boldly printed and the paper is well margined and free of any major issues. The issuing signatures have been struck through in ink as a cancellation. We sold an Ace from this bank for $1997 in our March Baltimore auction.
