Undated (Circa 1793-1795) Kentucky Token. W-8805. Rarity-6. Copper. Engrailed Edge. AU-55 (PCGS). CAC.;Handsome gray-brown patina with autumn-orange highlights in the protected areas around many of the obverse devices. Faint remnants of a fingerprint in the field below the scroll are noted, as is a thin flan flaw that diagonally bisects the upper left obverse field. Otherwise smooth with generally sharp detail that comes up a bit short only at the word CAUSE. Much rarer than the typically encountered Plain Edge variant of the Kentucky token, and sure to catch the eye of the astute collector, as such.;From the Antony Bettencourt Collection.
