1652 Oak Tree Shilling. Noe-9, Salmon 7-Ei, W-500. Rarity-5. IN at Bottom. VF-20 (PCGS).67.6 grains. Our current offering of the Richard August Collection has revealed this second Noe-9 Oak Tree, and boldly and originally toned mid grade coin with blushes of steely-russet to a base of sandy-pewter patina. The strike is similar to that seen on the primary August coin, centering quite good with the borders only lightly into some peripheral letters at left obverse and along the upper reverse, significant softness confined to 6 oclock on both sides and within and around the top of the tree.
