The first denomination of the initial series of Dollar denominated notes that were issued in 1920. The front design depicts the God of Wealth in black at centre, surrounded by a sea of soft, light green and multicolour underprints. The Commercial Bank of China is a highly popular issuer, given its auspicious meaning and this example with a strong visual appearance and certainly worthy of inclusion in an advanced collection.
