An attractive note in mid-grade with expert minor restoration refining the overall appearance of the note but with overall pleasing paper quality. This was the final date of issue for this type, which was first printed way back in 1912, and while this final date is considered the most available it remains rare in better grades. It appears that after the Japanese invaded Hong Kong at the beginning of World War II, most of these were redeemed, and relatively few survived to the present day.
