One of just six examples of this specimen in the PMG population report as of the time of cataloging. A fresh example that had some (mis)handling over the years, although the paper remains entirely original, and the grade is perhaps a bit harsh. In our October 2024 Hong Kong Auction, we sold a Gem Uncirculated example of this type for $26,400; this example should provide a somewhat more affordable alternative but as demand for these early Hong Kong specimens remains high dont expect the acquisition of this piece to come easy. This type was first introduced in 1912 and would remain in circulation until the outbreak of World War II.No
