A <strong>RARE</strong> and enticing offering in a more elevated, problem-free state of preservation, this enchanting crown displays very little in the way of actual circulation, with steely gray hues throughout verging into some delightful amber tinges at the peripheries and around portions of the devices. The strike is appealing, and the remaining brilliance peeks out wondrously from the protected areas.<p><em>This Dollar is a representative of the first set of Tai Ching Ti Kuo silver coinage. These issues--struck in limited quantities with a familiar obverse design based upon the imperial copper issues beginning in 1906--were placed into circulation and, in less than a year, were replaced by the 1908 issues.</em>
