We have only offered two other examples of the type--one in our April 2018 Hong Kong Auction (Lot # 40304) from the Q. David Bowers/R. B. White Collection, selling for a total of $8,400 (PCGS AU-55), and one in our 2010 December Hong Kong Auction (Lot # 82) from the Wa She Wong Collection, realizing a total of $12,650 (NGC MS-63 Brown). Showing only the slightest signs of friction, this piece will be highly contested when it crosses the auction block.
