PERU, Lima, gold cob 8 escudos, 1719/8 M, rare, NGC AU 58. S-L28; KM-38.2; Cal-2129; Fr-7. 26.84 grams. Well centered on a smallish flan with bold full cross-lions-castles and pillars-and-waves, the latter with arrangement of dots only seen on clean-date 1718s so far (but not the previous lot), even yellow color all over and no doubling.
