1853 Franklin Pierce Indian Peace Medal. Bronze. First Size. First Obverse. Julian IP-32. Prucha-49. MS-63 BN (NGC). 76.5 mm. 3876.4 grains. Light reddish mahogany brown over both sides with some slightly lighter patina on the high points. Satiny and lustrous with just a few light handling marks, mostly in the obverse fields.
