A RARE provincial variant dated to the first year of the series, this specimen retains great detail and clarity, having spent only a limited period of time in commerce. This particular variant is noted for its "v"-like strokes within the "hua" character on the obverse along with much cruder, almost almond-like, leaves upon the reverse.
