Obverse: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin; Reverse: Zeus seated left; monogram in left field and below throne. A charming example of this Alexander-type Tetradrachm that bears the name of the founder of the Seleukid dynasty. The surfaces show light toning and traces of earthen deposits, resulting in a coin with much originality and eye appeal.
