CHINA. Gold Tael Ingot, ND (ca. 1940s). UNCIRCULATED. Weight: 31.24 gms. Stamps on the obverse, with one, two, and three characters, and with the weight in ounces (1[.]002). The reverse remains rather rough in texture as made. Incredibly blazing and brilliant, with a good deal of luster remaining. An interesting specimen that, based upon its pedigree, has very likely only resided in two collections since shortly after its manufacture in the 1940s. From the Mark and Lottie Salton Collection. Ex: King Farouk Collection.
