This lovely example is bright and lustrous with hint of pale golden tone adding to its pleasing appearance. The stamps are well-applied to the uneven surfaces, though each of the stamps does exhibit areas of weakness obscuring some of the characters. Also included with this ingot is what appears to be a certificate or receipt (serial number 0522) from The Lung Yuan Bank Limited that is date stamped 35.11.29 (1935 November 29) three different times, along with the name of the issuer and several other ink stamps. A highly interesting aspect early Republican era numismatics that is not normally encountered and is sure to add depth to even the most advanced collections of Ingots or Republican era relics.
