Mothers Pin Fashioned out of a 1902-Dated Liberty Head half eagle. 11.45 grams, total weight. A 50 mm pinback bar engraved MOTHER serves as a suspension for an About Uncirculated 1902-dated half eagle gold coin which has had its reverse planed off and replaced with the script engraving 50TH / ANNIVERSARY / SEPT 28 / 1902. The suspension bar is not marked as to metal content, but appears to be gold. The pin and clasp are still functional.
