PORTUGAL. Banco de Portugal. 50 Mil Reis, 1906. P-85. Very Fine. Scarcer 1906 date with scarcer signature variety. Scene of Age of Discovery explorers on the obverse with four Portuguese explorers represented along with an angel watching over ships in rough seas. A tear is noticed in the right end of the note going into the design, with smaller margin tears/nicks seen with edge wear. Stains are also noticed.
