1794 S-71 R2 Head of 1795 PCGS graded XF45+, CAC Approved. Choice frosty light to medium brown and tan with slightly darker steel brown toning on the highpoints. No spots or stains, and the surfaces are perfectly smooth. The only notable marks are a dull scratch down the nose and a thin horizontal nick on the neck at the throat. MDS, Breen state IV. There are some fine die cracks on the obverse and die clashmarks on both sides, but the crack down between the R & T in LIBERTY has not formed. The reverse is rotated about 30 degrees clockwise and misaligned a bit to K-3. Graded VF20 and tied for CC#22 in the Noyes census, his photo #59920. Our grade is VF25+, close to VF30.
