The First National was Arlingtons only note issuing bank and issued $432,270 in both large and small size notes before going into receivership in June of 1932. Additionally, this is the only small size $20 known on the bank. In fact just 71 sheets of Type-1 $20s were issued by the bank before it closed. This vividly printed example displays bright paper, broad margins and only light traces of circulation.
