CHINA. Qing (Ching) Dynasty. 50 Cash, ND (1854-55). Suzhou Mint. Emperor Xian Feng (Wenzong). Graded "85" by Zhong Qian Ping Ji Grading Company. Hartill-22.899. Weight: 43.7 gms. Curved xian variety. Obverse: "Xian Feng zhong bao"; Reverse: "Dang wushi" (Value Fifty). A very well made and preserved example with sharp details and fully intact original rough surfaces from the casting process, while the filed high points and flat rims show little in the way of actual wear and are virtually as made. Minimal amounts of earthen deposits can been seen upon close inspection with the aid of magnification. A lovely high grade survivor sure to be a welcome addition to the next collection it enters.
