CHINA. Qing (Ching) Dynasty. Shaanxi. 100 Cash, ND (1854). Xian Mint. Emperor Xian Feng (Wenzong). Graded "75" by GBCA. Hartill-22.950. Weight: 72.2 gms. "Xian Feng yuan bao"; Reverse: "Dang bai (Valued One Hundred). A fairly well reserved example of the type with even wear on the high points and naturally rough surface texture in the open areas. A small planchet crack, seen on both side, is noted at an upward angle from the rim to the base of "bao". Minor earthen deposits are noticed in the crevasses and amongst the devices. Otherwise a wholesome example with rich brassy tone on the high point while the fields display dark patina.
