CHINA. Qing (Ching) Dynasty. Fujian. 100 Cash, ND (1853-55). Fuzhou Mint. Emperor Xianfeng (Wenzong). Graded "85" by GBCA. Hartill-22.784; FD-25826. Weight: 150.0 gms. "Xian Feng tong bao"; Reverse: "Yi bai" (one hundred [Cash]). A fairly well preserved example of the type with mostly original rough surfaces from the casting process and clear characters, evidence of the characteristic file marks on the flat portions of the rims are prevalent with small areas of smoothness from wear. Light tasteful smoothing in the reverse fields from long ago now toned over are noted for accuracy. Otherwise a nice presentable example of the type with a good look.
