The 1918-D is a median rarity among early date Walking Liberty half dollars, being more challenging to locate in Mint State than such other issues as the 1917-D Obverse Mintmark, 1917-S Reverse Mintmark, 1918-S and 1927-S. Given the paucity of Gems in todays market, this handsome Choice example represents excellent value for the astute bidder.
