The bank opened in 1921 and decided to issue just 1929 series notes, in both $5 and $10 denominations. It issued a mere $25,110, of that, just 202 sheets were of the $10 denomination. This is just one of two notes know, and the finest by a slim margin. It last sold for $11,000 in a 2004 public auction. One of the greatest California small to be offered in many years.
