清代上海消防队单面奖章。直径32毫米，重14克，伦敦Ortner & Houle铸造。正面铭文"MIH-HO-LOONG SHANGHAI"，龙纹徽章居左，下方缎带框内铭文"SAY THE WORD AND DOWN COMES YOUR HOUSE"，颁发予成立于1866年的上海消防队。铸工精緻，底板呈现多彩包浆，图文四周环绕浓艳琥珀金色。镶嵌部分或为原装，或为后补，但与章面契合完好，宛若天成。罕见。

Obv: MIH-HO-LOONG SHANGHAI, coat-of-arms with dragon left; below, ribbon inscribed with SAY THE WORD AND DOWN COMES YOUR HOUSE. Issued for the private brigade (founded 1866) which served Shanghai. Meticulously struck with attractive blended multicolored toning in the fields and richer golden amber hues around the designs. The mount may or may not be original, but it was expertly attached and does not detract in the slightest from the appearance. VERY RARE。
