1912-D Liberty Head Nickel. MS-66 (PCGS).Original silver gray surfaces exhibit a touch of pale golden iridescence as the coin dips into a light. Satiny in texture with an overall bold strike, there is much to recommend this lovely Gem to both advanced type collectors and Liberty Head nickel enthusiasts. The 1912-D is the premier Denver Mint nickel five-cent issue in U.S. coinage history and, while obtainable in most grades, it is scarce in MS-66 and rare any finer.
