拍品描述： 1914-S Buffalo Nickel. MS-66+ (PCGS).A beautifully toned Gem displaying soft violet pastels across each side and just a tinge of golden color at the borders. Well struck with matte-like luster and free from distractions of any sort. Although the 1914-S is readily available in Mint State despite a limited mintage of 3,470,000 pieces, premium quality Gems such as this are highly elusive and always in demand among quality-conscious Buffalo nickel enthusiasts. This example ranks among the finest survivors of this issue and just 2 pieces have been certified finer by PCGS at MS-67.
