1893 Indian Cent. MS-66+ RD (PCGS). CAC.This is an enchanting survivor from this issue, sporting a lovely patina of tangerine and powder blue shades of varying intensity. The fields are remarkably prooflike and reflective courtesy of dramatic die polishing visible on both sides. More frosty luster blankets the devices and remains nicely undisturbed, testifying to the overall superior preservation. Well struck and delightful to examine in-hand. pppThe 1893 is the most readily available Indian cent from the 1889 to 1893 era in the finest Mint State grades. However, in an absolute sense, and as certified population data makes clear, this issue is scarce at the present level of preservation and virtually unavailable at the Superb level. Just 2 coins have been certified finer by PCGS. p
