ENSAIE countermark on the obverse, Morelos countermark on the reverse, on an 1811 Zacatecas Moneda Provisional 8 Reales (KM-191). Host coin of typical crude manufacture. The ENSAIE countermark appears partially blunted while the Morelos countermark is full, leading us to deduce that the ENSAIE countermark was applied first. Several instances of handling are observed, but the overall appearance is quite nice with moderate gray tone over both sides and strong peripheral detail appearing on the host issue. <strong>RARE</strong>, and especially interesting considering all other appearances of this dual-stamped issue that we recall seeing show both punches over the obverse.
