The important back shows a departure of the original series vignette of DeSoto Discovering the Mississippi for a more appropriate pile of contemporary Gold Coins. The coin vignette is very important as the detailed engraving is more visible on this note than most lower grades. PCGS notes "Repairs" which is very common for the type and executed quite well on this Five Dollar note.
