COLOMBIA. 1886/6-M 5 Decimos. Medellín mint. Restrepo 301.3. AU-55 (NGC).Frosty light silver gray with just a hint of golden toning and good remaining luster. Trivial hairlines are present, but no significant flaws. The recutting at the date is plainly not the 1886/4 overdate, but an 1886/6 instead. The obverse is cracked from S DE through much of COLOMBIA. Scarce and appealing. From Heritages sale of the Whittier Collection, June 2006, lot 16745.
