Mounted on Paper, Tear.Due to a shortage of coins, the Treasury Department decided, without authorization, to issue banknotes of 1, 3 and 5 Pesos. When the Banco of Buenos Ayres objected, the notes were withdrawn. Only examples of the 1 and 3 Pesos are known. All of the issued notes seen are in museums or bank collections.
