This higher denomination is larger size than the preceding. There were notes printed three times for this denomination at the ABNCo. 5,000 were authorized in December 1882, 2,000 in December 1884, and 10,000 in October 1887. No series letter. Other face proofs observed have a soft violet tint; this is light blue and technically a color trial (or from one of the later printings). The back is purple. Both India paper proofs are choice.
