A lovely, impressive type. The two highest denominations were large format notes. The bank did not print 20 Pesos notes, though the Pick catalog did leave space since it did not have this record data until 1990 when the auction catalog was produced by Christies. There were 1,000 notes authorized for printing in May 1882. A peach tint warmly encompasses this finely vignetted proof. Condor at the top center and allegorical female at the left. The back is slightly deeper color. Beautifully prepared proofs on the record book page. Uncirculated. From the Eldorado Collection of Colombian Paper Money.
