Die counter X upper left of center with bank title curving above and below. Village scene upper right of center. Allegorical female with scales, shield and eagle at right with X counters above and below. Seal of the State of Georgia at bottom center. This type is unlisted in Haxby and we have not been able to trace any examples of this $10 type in prior auctions. This is similar to early $5, $20 and $50 types issued by the bank. Serial number 903 is seen in the top right. The note is dated and has the "Will pay" line filled in but was not signed by the banks cashier or president. The plate A note appears to have been at the bottom of its sheet with full bottom and side selvage seen. A rare Georgia note and possibly the only example available.
