CHINA--EMPIRE. Ta Ching Government Bank. $100, ND (1910). P-A82p.2 pieces in lot. (S/M#T10-40) Face and back proofs in blue printed by the Imperial Chinese BEP. This incredibly scarce series is one which we have yet to handle in any form. This Highest denomination $100 note is seen in a lovely face back proof configuration with blue inks utilized throughout. Showing a detailed portrait vignette of Prince Feng at left and flying dragon above coastline with farmers at right. Certainly an item that would be a highlight in any collection it enters and unavailable in issued form as the notes never were produced for circulation with only the $10 denomination and lower being known. The two notes are quite technically pleasing with only some mounting remnants at the back observed along with some foxing and staining. An opportunity that should be weighed quite heavily as they this series is seldom offered.About Uncirculated
