1875-CC Twenty-Cent Piece. BF-4. Rarity-2. MS-64+ (PCGS).;A faint champagne hue accents the complexion of this otherwise platinum-white Carson City double dime. The luster is rich and satiny throughout, with a subtle prooflike reflectivity to the reverse fields courtesy of a healthy die polishing. Die polishing is also visible on the obverse to a lesser extent, haloing Libertys figure in an icy glow of striations when caught at the right angle. The facade is angelic and unmarred by distracting abrasions of any sort, rendering this example a true jewel for both type collectors and twenty-cent piece enthusiasts.
