1805 Draped Bust Dime. JR-2. Rarity-1. 4 Berries. AU-50 (PCGS).;An essentially brilliant piece, just the faintest traces of bronze and cobalt iridescence are visible across the obverse. The focal regions retain considerable pronouncement, with trivial notions of softness affecting the peripheries. Thin die cracks intertwine throughout the date, LIBERTY and the stars at right on the obverse, accompanying subtle evidence of clashing around the central elements of both sides. The surfaces are nicely composed, with a few light marks across the lower shield to account for the only noteworthy blemish throughout.
