MS-65 BN (NGC).；A handsome Gem, both sides exhibit dominant steel-brown patina with glints of faded orange luster still clinging to the protected areas around the obverse periphery. The surfaces are overall smooth with a soft satin texture, the only significant blemish an out of the way toning spot at the letter E in PEACE and the following & on the obverse. Advanced obverse die state with myriad breaks around the periphery, the most prominent of which extends into the field below the word TO. A popular type with American collectors, the Washington Grate halfpenny is also collected as part of the British Conder token series.；
