Fr-390; S-3864; KM-769. Hefty chunk of Jubilee gold and fully mint state. Highly reflective nearly proof-like fields which tend to accentuate what few marks there are on the coin. The portrait and central reverse devices are all quite nice for the grade. Were the fields frosty and able to better conceal the light handling marks, a coin that conceivably would have graded several points higher. In any case, a highly attractive lightly toned example of this always in demand large British 19th century gold coin. NGC MS-60.
