拍品描述： Rare Gold Dollar of Year 9 Republic of China. Gold Dollar Year 9 (1920) AU Details (ObverseSpot Removed) NGC, Tientsin mint, Kann-1562, L&M-1092. Obv.Bust of Yuan Shih-kai left in military dress. Value in wreath.Fully lustrous, and bright, with light golden color. Closeexamination of the obverse reveals small areas where someone hasused a pin-type object to remove a few spots, leaving lightpin-scratches if viewed carefully. It is thought that the 1920 golddollars were actual strikings from the original dies, perhaps donearound 1949, as they appeared appeared in Hong Kong sometimeshortly after this.From the Ultima Collection
