Unadopted national emblem of Dragon and Phoenix.Rev. Value, in small characters, within wreath. Long thought tohave been struck for the wedding of Pu Yi, it has been determinedthat this piece is actually a trial issue for the unadopted newnational emblem. Housed in a first generation PCGS holder, thispiece is one of the finer examples we have seen. Light goldenpatina, with a few minor, darker toning spots. The strike isnear-flawless and the surfaces are free of notable flaws.
