A rare note that very seldom shows up in public auctions, let alone in this SECOND HIGHEST GRADE and without any repairs. A must have note for the serious collector of Foreign Banks in China or Dutch Colonial notes. Specimens of this institution are sometimes available but are very popular, while issued notes such as this are always hotly contested. Even though there are eighteen notes in the PMG population at the time of cataloguing, just one note is graded slightly higher in PMG 30, making this among the finest known. A look at our online auction archives shows a handful of offerings of this type in issued format over the past couple of years, which is a bit of a deception, as it remains rare and very popular.
