PMG Choice Extremely Fine 45.上海地名。此为一枚极罕之法资银行拾圆流通票。该银行成立于 1913 年，几乎承办所有法国于中国发行之公债。历经近十年快速扩张，分行遍及北京、天津、上海、贵州、汕头、福州、奉天、昆明、香港等地，却于 1921 年因巴黎总行亏损而突然停业。仅在北洋政府强力施压下，才透过北京银行公会兑回钞票，致使逾九成已发行钞票被回收，存世极为稀少。本枚为 PMG 仅 6 枚入评中之唯一冠军分。PMG 备注针孔，油墨印章。Shanghai. A rare issued 10 Dollar note from this French led bank. The Bank was founded in 1913 and handled virtually all French issued bonds in China. After nearly a decade of expansion with branches in Peking, Tientsin, Shanghai, Kweichow, Swatow, Foochow, Mukden, Kunming, Hong Kong, etc., it suddenly closed its doors in 1921 after suffering a loss at its Paris headquarters. It was only under intense pressure from the Beiyang Government that it redeemed its banknotes through the Peking Banking Union. Over 90% of all issued banknotes were redeemed by the Union, resulting in a general scarcity of banknotes on the market today.
