Edge marked (pointing hand) CUIVRE. Struck from Augustin Dupres original obverse and a later copy reverse at the Paris Mint between 1845 and 1860. Lustrous medium brown and quite handsome. The obverse shows significant spalling in this die state, including a particularly notable area beneath the date. Like the previous lot, the surfaces are pristine, with no marks of note.
