Three-part hanging badge, each part joined by chains, there are no ribbons. The lower part is an eagle-topped badge with an enamel center showing the fire department building surrounded by LIBERY FIRE CO. NO. 5 / READING, PA. In the middle is a bar marked MEMBER, at the top is the fully functional pin back marked YORK STATE FIREMENS / CONVENTION. A second pin has broken off or been removed from the middle bar. The back of each component is unmarked.
