Three characters type. An <strong>EXTREMELY RARE</strong> type that varies from the much more commonly encountered type for the year in two ways. First, it presents three characters at the top: 道什喀 (<em>pertaining to the Kashgar Circuit--a government administrative division within the Ching dynasty.</em>) Second, it features a different character for "one" within the denomination. While most other coinage utilizes 壹 or just 一, this type instead presents the value as 弌, a more archaic rendering. Despite the noted corrosion removal, which is rather extensive upon the characters side, this example stands as a stunning and important opportunity.From the SGSC Collection.
