COLOMBIA. Republica de Colombia. 100 Pesos, 16.4.1907. P-Unlisted. DP 4329. PMG Uncirculated 62. A treasury certificate without interest payable in gold. The highest denomination of these certificates and not illustrated in the Danilo Parra Arizo reference. Perforated cancelled, as most survivors of this series, and some pinholes and stains that are not distracting and impact very little. The back features a singular handstamp dated 1907 from the "Ministerio de Hacienda". A rarity that has survived in uncirculated condition with great eye-appeal and an important item for the serious student of Colombian financial history. PMG comments "Cancelled, Pinholes, Stains." From the Gran Colombia Collection.
