民国三十八年台湾银行伍圆，编号AA740598，空心金门地名，PMG 30，冠军分，PMG仅得2枚记录。由于当年政局不稳，1949年政府实行新措施，于现有钞票上加盖“金门”。后来大量军人进入金门，在资金短缺的情况下无法继续运输钞票，随后更被销毁。本品与同系列之壹圆同为台湾纸钞中最珍罕版别之一，直至2022年，存世记录不足30枚
Bank of Taiwan, Kinmen Issue, 5 yuan, Year 38 (1949), serial number AA740598, hollowed Kinmen type, (Pick R102B), PMG 30. PMG Census TOP POP, one of two graded. Due to regional unstability, a new act was inplaced in 1949 to add the Kinmen overprint on existing notes. At the end, due to the large influx of military personnel in Kinmen, the lack of leftover funds has halted the transportation of these notes, and they were subsequantly destroyed. One of the scarcest issue from Taiwan along with its 1 yuan counterpart. As of 2022, less then 30 examples are known. One of the scarcest Taiwan issues out there.
